Homemade Glow Drink

A refreshing, antioxidant-rich glow drink made with fresh lemon, cucumber, mint, ginger, and chia seeds to hydrate the body and promote healthier, glowing skin.

Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 cup cold water or coconut water
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 4 slices of cucumber
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 5 to 6 mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • A few ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Slice the cucumber, squeeze the lemon juice, and grate the ginger.
  2. Add the cold water, lemon juice, cucumber slices, grated ginger, and mint leaves into a glass or jar.
  3. Stir or shake the mixture well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Add chia seeds and let them soak in the drink for about 10 minutes until they puff up.
  5. Add honey to the drink if desired for additional sweetness.
  6. Top with a few ice cubes and stir the drink again before serving.

Notes

You can blend the entire mixture for a smoother texture. Experiment with variations like chilled green tea instead of water, adding berries for flavor, or a slice of jalapeno for a kick.
