Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 12 oz penne or fusilli pasta
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce about 15 oz
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Chopped parsley for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cook the pasta as directed on the package, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the pasta, shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish that can hold all the ingredients evenly.
  5. Top the pasta mixture with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

You can assemble this dish ahead of time and refrigerate it until ready to bake. To reheat leftovers, cover with foil and warm in a 350°F oven until heated through.
