The Body as a Temple
As Christians, we understand that our bodies are sacred vessels designed by God. In the Bible, we are reminded that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. This means that we should take care of ourselves and treat our bodies with respect and honor. Smoking weed or indulging in anything that might harm our physical well-being is inconsistent with this teaching. Just as we wouldn’t want to damage a beautiful temple, we should not allow harmful substances to enter our bodies.
