We know that all authority comes from God, who is sovereign over all creation. When we understand that God established authorities, it encourages us to respect those in power, as they serve a purpose designated by Him. This gives us a deeper appreciation for God’s plan in our lives. The way God orchestrates human leaders reminds us to trust in His wisdom, knowing that He has a greater design. Even when times are tough or leaders seem unrighteous, we can rest in the assurance that God is still in control. In every situation, we strive to submit to authority while holding on to our faith in God.
