Bible Verses About Divisiveness
Understanding God’s Call for Unity
In our lives as Christians, we are reminded repeatedly of God’s desire for unity among us. The Bible calls us to engage in love and harmony. Unity is a reflection of our faith and our commitment to Christ. When we come together as one body, we demonstrate the grace and mercy bestowed upon us by our Savior. We understand that divisiveness within our communities or churches can weaken our testimony and hinder the mission of spreading the Gospel. By embracing unity, we bring glory to God.

Division can create confusion, mistrust, and conflict, not just in our circles but also in how we present ourselves to the world. We see throughout scripture how division can lead to destruction and how God warns us of its dangers. By being aware of the impacts of our divisions, we can resist the temptation to let disagreements disrupt the harmony of our communities. Keeping our focus on Christ helps us rise above these challenges.
