The Bible calls us to honor and respect those who govern us, as they have been placed in their positions for a reason. This creates an environment for stability and peace for us as citizens. We must constantly ask ourselves how we can be a blessing to those in authority, helping them to govern in a way that reflects God’s love and justice.
