We learn from scripture that the absence of grief creates a space where we can enjoy eternal happiness. Being in the presence of God will bring us a joy beyond our understanding. We are reminded that our future in heaven will be a place where our hearts will never feel the burden of sorrow again. How comforting it is to know that in heaven, we will experience pure and unending joy that we may only catch fleeting glimpses of in our current lives.
